Hello and welcome to gristly bits, a food blog of sorts. I’m an engineer by trade, but a wanna be cook at heart. I’m a Texan by birth, but move around a lot. After a five year stint in in Seattle, WA, I recently moved back to Austin, bringing with me two mangy mutts , a pair of rascally felines, and a very crafty wife.
